Entrepreneur and politician Basheer Tosin Ashafa (BTA) joined the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, on an inspection tour of ongoing and completed development projects across the council area.
The projects, covering infrastructure, community services, and public welfare, form part of the administration’s efforts to improve living conditions and expand development at the grassroots level.
During the inspection, Ashafa commended Princess Bada for what he described as people-focused leadership, noting that her administration has remained committed to sustainable development and responsive governance.
He said the projects reflected a clear understanding of the needs of residents and praised the progress made under the current administration in transforming the council area.
Ashafa also encouraged other Local Council Development Area chairmen across Lagos State to adopt similar approaches by prioritising projects that directly benefit their communities. According to him, meaningful development begins at the grassroots through initiatives that improve the daily lives of residents.
Residents and community stakeholders who participated in the inspection also expressed satisfaction with the visible improvements across Ikosi-Isheri LCDA and voiced confidence in the council’s continued development efforts.
The inspection highlighted another milestone in the council’s ongoing development programme and reinforced its commitment to delivering projects that positively impact the lives of residents.
