Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Department

The Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Department supports initiatives that promote the well-being, empowerment, and economic participation of women and vulnerable members of the community. The department works to create opportunities that can strengthen livelihoods, promote inclusion, and support individuals and families facing social and economic challenges.

Through empowerment initiatives, skills development, social support, and community-focused programmes, the department contributes to efforts aimed at improving the capacity of residents to become more economically independent and resilient.

The department also supports programmes that promote the inclusion and welfare of vulnerable groups, working with relevant stakeholders to address social needs and advance the well-being of communities across Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.
