The Planning, Budget and Statistics Department supports the Council’s development planning, financial planning, and evidence-based decision-making. The department helps translate the needs and priorities of the people into structured plans, programmes, and budgets that guide the Council’s development efforts.

Through the collection, organisation, and analysis of relevant data, the department supports informed planning and provides information that can help the Council understand community needs, monitor development priorities, and assess the progress of programmes and projects.
