Clerk

The Clerk of the Legislative Council serves as the chief administrative and procedural officer of the legislative arm of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area. The Clerk supports the effective functioning of the Legislative Council by coordinating its administrative processes, maintaining official records, and ensuring that legislative proceedings are properly documented.

The Clerk provides administrative support for meetings of the Legislative Council, including the preparation and preservation of official documents, minutes, records, and other legislative materials. The office also helps facilitate communication between the Legislative Council, the Executive arm of the Council, and relevant departments on matters requiring legislative attention.

Through accurate record-keeping, procedural coordination, and administrative support, the Clerk’s Office contributes to an organised, transparent, and effective legislative process within Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.

* Providing administrative support to the Legislative Council.
* Coordinating legislative meetings and proceedings.
* Preparing, maintaining, and preserving official legislative records.
* Recording and documenting proceedings of the Legislative Council.
* Managing legislative correspondence and official documentation.
* Supporting communication between the Legislative Council and relevant Council authorities.
* Facilitating the orderly conduct of legislative business.
