Executive Chairman

Hon. Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada

Executive Chairman, Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area

Hon. Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada is the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area. She is a seasoned public administrator and grassroots leader with extensive experience in local governance, community development, and public service. Throughout her leadership, she has championed initiatives focused on infrastructure renewal, healthcare delivery, educational support, youth empowerment, environmental sustainability, and social welfare. Her administration is driven by transparency, accountability, inclusive governance, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for all residents of the LCDA.

Hon. Olayinka Ogunleye

Vice Chairman, Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area

Hon. Olayinka Thomas Ogunleye is a public administrator, political leader, and business executive with over two decades of experience in governance, strategic leadership, and human resource management. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), where he supports policy formulation, administrative oversight, community development, and the implementation of people-centered governance initiatives.

Before assuming public office, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Thomas Gold Nigeria Limited, a printing technology and consultancy firm, where he successfully led business development, operations, innovation, and organizational growth for over 20 years. His extensive private sector experience has strengthened his expertise in leadership, stakeholder engagement, financial management, and service delivery.

Hon. Ogunleye holds a National Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Ronik Polytechnic, Lagos, and is pursuing a Higher National Diploma in the same discipline. A seasoned grassroots politician, he has served in several leadership positions within the All Progressives Congress (APC), including Ward Chairman and Ward Vice Chairman. He has also participated in numerous leadership development programmes and conferences organized by the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), both within Nigeria and internationally, reflecting his enduring commitment to responsive governance, sustainable development, and community empowerment.

Chief of Staff

Hon Omokejimi Samuel Abayomi

Chief of staff, Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area

Omokejimi Samuel Abayomi is a journalist, media strategist, and youth development advocate with over eight years of experience in investigative reporting, governance, migration narratives, and community-focused storytelling. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Ikosi Isheri FocusTV and Founder/Editor of Lagos Community News Review, where he has led impactful coverage on public policy, social issues, youth development, and grassroots transformation.

He currently serves as the Special Adviser on Youth to the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, driving initiatives that promote youth empowerment, skills development, and community engagement. He is an alumnus of the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (2024).

Samuel is also a member of Rise-Up for Women and Girls, an affiliate of PHI Oakland, California, advocating for maternal health and issues affecting women and girls. He has collaborated with government institutions, NGOs, and civic organizations to translate research and community experiences into public awareness campaigns.

He holds a Higher National Diploma in Physics with Electronics from Yaba College of Technology and is fluent in English and Yoruba.

Hon Julius Kolade Omotayo

Secretary to the Local Government, Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area

Hon. Omotayo Julius Kolade is a grassroots politician, public administrator, urban planning professional, and business executive with over three decades of experience across governance, real estate development, estate management, and community service. A graduate of Town and Regional Planning from Yaba College of Technology, he is the Chief Executive Officer of JOMFAK Company Limited, a real estate firm with extensive experience in property development, investment, and management.

He began his professional career in 1990 as an Assistant Supervisor in the Estate Services Department of Shell Petroleum Development Company, Marina, Lagos, where he gained valuable expertise in estate administration and facility management. In 2004, he served as a member of the Traffic and Transportation Committee Board of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, contributing to urban mobility planning and community development initiatives.

A pioneer member of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Omotayo Julius Kolade has remained actively involved in grassroots politics through the party’s transformation from AD to Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and ultimately the All Progressives Congress (APC), demonstrating a long-standing commitment to democratic values and community representation.

He currently serves as the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG) of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, having served from 2021 to 2025 and reappointed for the 2025–2029 administration. With a blend of private sector experience, political leadership, and public service commitment, he continues to promote effective governance, strategic planning, and sustainable development within Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.
