Hon. Adedeji Omotayo Osinowo is the Deputy Leader of the 6th Legislative Assembly of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), serving in the 2025–2029 administration. A respected grassroots politician and legislator, he has built a reputation for effective representation, community engagement, and unwavering commitment to progressive governance.
Prior to his current role, he represented the people of Ward C (Upper Ikosi) as a Councillor between 2021 and 2025. His political career began in 2003 when he served as Personal Assistant to the Council Chairman. He later emerged as Youth Leader of the Action Congress (AC), a position he retained through the party’s evolution into the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and subsequently the All Progressives Congress (APC), serving from 2013 to 2018.
Born in August 1969 to the family of Mr. Alex Babatunde Osinowo and Mrs. Benise Abosede Osinowo, Hon. Osinowo is an indigene of Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State. He attended Obalende Primary School, Ijeh, Lagos, and Ikosi High School, Ketu, before obtaining both the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) from Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta. He completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in 1996/1997.
Through years of dedicated public service and grassroots mobilization, Hon. Osinowo continues to advance policies and initiatives that promote inclusive development, responsive leadership, and the overall well-being of the people of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.
